LA BOCA
This neighborhood is one of the most touristic areas of Buenos Aires. Its name is due to its location: it is the entrance (commonly known as ”the mouth” in Spanish) of the Riachuelo, used by Pedro de Mendoza in his first foundation. Its activity was always linked to the port doings and production, becoming a settled-down place for an important labor population of immigrants especially from Geneva. These workers brought with them the new socialists and anarchists ideas and therefore this neighborhood became one of the first centers for social claims. Its constructions are those of the typical houses with walls of foils also present in other port areas that give a unique physiognomy to the neighborhood in the city.

The famous street in this neighborhood is the picturesque Caminito, of hardly 100 meters, next to the coastal road in which the countless colors of its constructions with murals and reliefs stand out.
